Creating Movie Tape

I'm stuck. I'm creating a logo which features a movie roll and some tape coming out of it. But I can't get the tape to look right.

Movie tape looks like this

but in the logo it's folded like a ribbon.

Is there a way to get the little holes on the side to be evenly spaced AND make them curve along with the tape?
