creating small pictures on black background

Postby jallaballa on Sat Jul 14, 2007 8:13 am

Hi all
I am new to these forums, but hope anyone here can answer me the following:

When I create pictures (jpg and gif or png) for my webpage/forum (black background) all my pictures get small white "shades" around them.

I try to make a gif file without any background but as long as my background stays black the shade always appears.

Any ideas how I can remove this "shade"

Example:

And your sure that the white is not there before saving ?
Try copy/paste it into a bigger canvas with a black background to check it out.

I'm pretty sure there's a white background before you save that image ...
