CS2 is choosing CR not Bibble?

Postby bevels on Thu Jul 05, 2007 4:54 am

Hey People,

I've posted this problem on the Bibble forums but couldn't find a resolve, someone recommended I try a photoshop forum to try and figure out the problem so here I am, hopefully I'll be back up in running as it's been a while and i'm dying to get back to my usual workflow!

Here is the communication so far:

Any help is much appreciated, I really hope I can sort this out.

Thanks.

I recently installed CS3 off a friends disk to have a bit of a play before I purchased it myself. Unfortunately when I un-installed it of my machine I think it may have taken more than was neccessary?

Now when I open an Raw file in CS2 Camera Raw loads the file and not Bibble? I've completely uninstalled Bibble and Re-installed it again and that didn't work, so I manually deleted the files from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CS2\File Formats and copied the files in manually... still no joy?

I'm out of ideas, any smart cookie know what the problem might be?

This was your massage. Atleast you can copy paste your question. Never mind.

don't lauch any program...

right click on any raw file while pressing shift key...

now select "open with" from context menu...

now click "choose program"

choose Bibble from list, if bibble is not present in the list then click browse and locate the bibble exe file.

now check the box telling "Always use this..."

That's it.

Thanks for the replies.

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear. I don't actually want to open the file in the standalone Bibble application, I want the file to open with the Bibble photoshop plugin.

Seems to be more difficult than I imagined.

thanks anyway, it looks like i'm just going to have to settle with Camera Raw  Boo Hoo.
