hi foodjunkie and idad,

been following the thread, in fact i did a reply but for some reason
it got lost... but anyway

now i did duplicate foodjunkie issue but couldn't find a way to make
them visable.... as stated..

so i experimented for awhile i did think about the copy and paste routine but didn't like that
...... and what worked best for me...

1. made a single duplicate layer and desaturated....
2. for each part i wanted to use the history brush on i
used a new transparent layer use the brush on that layer...
3. doing this way... all the item on the different transparent layers
all showed!!!! ... and i didn't have to copy and paste...

now if you want to merge all the layers without lossing the orginal layers...
what i did was
a. create blank layer at the top of the stack and hhilight
b. turn on the eyes of the layers i want to merge
c. holding down the alt key and at the same time go to the
layer menu and click merge visable ...
d. what that does it consoldates the visable layers and not leave the orginal
layers alone...

i hope this is usefull.. i know for me i learned a couple of things...

Hi jerry, That method works too I like the copy paste method, for some reason it works best for me(I guess it's what I got use to) So many was to do these things, it is sometimes tough to really know a problem without seeing first hand what it is being explained.at least for me anyway.

hi idad,
I found that there many different way but many times it what one is comfortable with
that maybe the best.... a variation i tried was i selected an area i wanted
then create a new layer and then used the history brush... smiling.. the selction
kept me with in the selection on the newe layer....

just imagine.. a few weeks ago didn't even touch the history brush, apprehensive about it..smiling ....
but now I find different ways to use it now...lol
