Darkroom exile

Postby Radish150 on Wed Feb 25, 2009 10:09 am

Hey all, I just scanned about 200 35mm and medium format slides from the film era and gee, I guess I better learn something about photo shop, can't be halfway in the pool huh? I have some basics and have been "peetering" around in photoshop for a few years but only recently has it become really necessary that I develop a more sophisticated grasp of it really. I mostly want to learn how to get the most out of the film scans I have, but I find myself becoming increasingly interested in the creative flexibility that the digital realm offers. My first question is about enlarging an element from an image for pasting into another image, or maybe even just enlarging a single element within the original image. I can enlarge it with "transform", and then cut and paste but I can't make it keep it's enlarged state when it gets pasted. My apologies if I should have posted this on the proper sub forum.

Thanks and Hello to everyone!
Mark...
