Dashed Letters/Numbers

Postby briteway on Tue Sep 06, 2011 10:33 pm

Hi all, I'm new here (so please be nice and have patience).

I want to be able to write dashed numbers and letters and can't seem to figure it out. I'm also quite new to Photoshop so any advice and step-by-step instruction would be greatly appreciated.

I tried search but couldn't find anything except a mention of it but no details on how to actually do it. Below is what I found:

without playing around to much with this you could do it alot beet and precise
I did this using
the Single Row Marquee tool and Column tool
just set it to multiple selections and size the spacing as you wish.just an idea

There was a picture of the above with numbers and especially number 7. It is exactly how I would want my text to appear.

I would mainly use this to convert font letters and numbers to teach kids how to write including capitals, lower case, running writing, numbers etc.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

soundslike maybe strike thru..
take a look at this..
http://livedocs.adobe.com/en_US/Photosh ... -759c.html

another meathod is after you put in your letters and numbers you can
add another layer and manually paint in the horizontal line .....

or another idea... is find a font that has strike thru or horizontal lines .... found a few but the one i found alittle crazy .. but there out there....
