Two suggestions for the login layer of the forum:

1) Would it be possible to add a "close-window" icon on the login layer of the forum?

A user who just wants to read a topic now needs to either:
- register (which is annoying if you only want to read a single message)
- disable javascript
- ignore the layer

I myself always auto-clear the whole cache when closing my browser. So when I visit this forum I also need to disable javascript when only reading a message.

2) Per default, it would be practical to have the focus() on the user-textfield of the login-layer. That would save a click .

For design sake, a close button right near the Log in button will do.

Or maybe deleting this floating login form and create a Login button together with the navigations above (News, Flash Games, Tutorials, Information, Forum , Signin/Login) is much better?!.

..for positive sake,,,it gives the user no option...but to register
