Ok...i've done a google search on this subject and can't find anything. I've had the same problem with photoshop, but in photoshop all you have to do is the "tab".
This happens all of the time and it's very annoying. When i have a document open and I want to minimize or move that window I can't because the top of the window is hidden behind the main menu. Why does it do this, I never dragged it up there? The tab key doesn't help.

Is it hidden behind the menu bar, or behind the control palette? (the bar right under the menu bar, that shows info/buttons, etc.) My windows always get underneath the control pallete somehow. If you just click and drag on the left side of the control palette, the little bar, you can move it away and access your window. You can also go to Window>Control and turn it off temporarily to get under there.

Jayluebs. Thank you so much. Yeah, i was referring to the top menu bar. Going to Window>Control minimizes the the top controls and allowed me to temporarily get to my document window. Thanks for the tip. I wonder why this happens anyway? Seems like there be a way to prevent this problem from even happening. Oh well. Thanks again!
