Dotted line box...

I don't know how to explain this...
All of the sudden I have a dotted line box around each layer - like the transform box but dotted. I can rotate and resize with the box but I want it to go away!!!! I'm sure I hit something and freaked it out, I am a fairly new user to Photoshop, used to work with Fireworks, but I love it!!!
HELP!!!!

Hmm... I don't know if this is your problem or not, but it might be worth checking. If you have the Move Tool selected and the "Show Bounding Box" (or "Show Transform Controls" in newer versions of PS) is checked on the Options Bar, you'll get the effect you described. If that box is checked, uncheck it.
