Downloading pdf files

Hi Everyone,
I would like visitors to be able to click a link on my website which then causes a pdf file to save to the folder of their choice on their hard drive, will it be possible? It happens that when I click on it, it aways open the file instead of downloading.

Just tell them to right-click and save file as.
That'd be the easiest way imo.

From what I know, download functiosn are really advanced.

he's right.. ask them to right clik and save as.. the easy way out. or zip the file and give the link..
