and i need to know how to get rid of the white bits surrounding the bars 
can any1 help??? |

It's a good start, but I think the bars should go faster on the way up, and you should try to syncronize them a bit, so most of them goes up on the same time.
Take some time and study the equalizer in for example winamp too se how it works in different songs. |

well i have now lol
but on the pic up there the quality is really bad
it because it on a light background you cant really tell  |
