I've just installed Snow Leopard on my MAC. In the process of saving a digital photo I downloaded from Aperture and processed in CS3 I am getting the following message: "Could not save "XXXXX.psd" because the file is already in use or was left open". I am told that this may be a problem Snow Leopard has with CS3. Does anyone have a fix?

It just means you left it open in another program.(quick other program first or close it in Aperture Try just adding another digit or character in new file "XXXXX.psd" like this XXXXXa.psd or just 1or 2 at the end
