Hello,

I'm creating a site, and I want people to be able to send a message or email to me, but the only way I can find of creating a feedback form is using the "mailto" action. Of course, what this does is to take whatever the user puts into the form, opens their mail program and pastes it into an email.

What I want to know is: using HTML, how can I do it so that they can just enter text into the form, then it sends me an email WITHOUT them needing their mail program? If I find myself on a page that does this, I usually don't bother sending it, as it pisses me off. It also discounts those people who only use webmail.

You cant do this with html, you need to use some form of scripting, check out my tutorial in the scripts section of the PHP +MySQL forum.
