Filters GONE?

Postby ASEPJM on Wed Aug 31, 2005 1:40 am

I Have Photoshop CS on a Mac G-4. I have discovered my filters have run away and left my filter tab completly. I have no textures, artistic or many of the others. Only blur and pixelate and sharpen. What can I do to bring them back? I am an intermidiate level user so talk slowly and don't use too many big words (Duh)
Thank you, whoever you my be.

Hi and welcome to devppl asepjm.

I've never heard of this before, I suggest that you uninstall photoshop and reinstall it.

If it still not works, you can download new filters or copy them from some other computer with photoshop installed.

But I suggest that you re-install it, that's the best way.

You must have deleted the folder containing all filters.

I Tried re-installing Photoshop CS and still has basic filters...
Blur, Noise, Pixelate, Sharpen, Stylize, Other
No Textures or any others. Could it be a set-up issue? I go 640x480 pixels, transparent, RGB Color, 8-bit ratio, 72 res. I am stumped and frustrated.

Try to open a current .jpg -image and see if you can use the different filters on that one.
