Hi all

I'm exploring my way through illustrator and have a first assignment for a kindergarden -

The assignement was: a funny figure which helps kids reminding that for every problem there is a solution...it should have a asking emotion, and have a mixer

In attachment is the result...I like it so far, but it can be better...

I don't know really how to take parts from a figure, make it a seperate path so i can do things with it...

Can somebody advide me how I can do the following :

* Make sure Robocops graps the mixer like it should be
* a nice glossy shine on it
* nicer arms...
