are their ways to manipulate fonts to crack it and show the pieces falling off kinda like glass? just curious i'm trying to make a logo like that.

would anyone be willing to try it for me? the team name is MISS STRESS and the way I want it is to have the Miss smaller than the stress and hitting the stress cracking it and having pieces falling of the stress where its cracked

I was looking through the gallery and omg some really awesome work. I have photoshop7 and had no idea what it was capable of.

I'm trying to design a jersey for my paintball team and was told photoshop was the best thing to use.

If I were to ask someone to design something for me, is there some where I could post it here?

if you want to request id say post a topic in the Photoshop forum if you have made a design and want to show it off then go to photoshop forum and use the sub-forum GALLERY (top) and make a topic ther

Pamela I'll try make one for you. Just need to know if you want the STREES part of the logo to look like a window hit by stone. Making a small whole in the middle and a "spider-web" like cracking going round? Or something else? Shouldn't be that hard to make ..

okay, I'm not sure what you meant about "miss" hitting "stress". But that hit sure made stress crack...

And by the way, this can be edited, so just tell me if there's somethings you want changed (I bet there are).

I was looking more for the miss falling from above and hitting the stress on top and crushing the stress causing pieces to fall.
Just for your info. we are an all girl paintball team.
that is so cool though. I have photoshop and I'm slowly learning. the tutorials are great

i really like the glass look of it, and the way the cracks and pieces are, thats perfect. but minus the bullet holes. have it like the miss hitting the stress is what caused the cracks.

I could compensate you for your time, if you would like. You are doing me a really huge favour and your work is great.
Heres some alterations for the one above.
ok, put a bullet hole in the R of stress, like what you did with the T and S, but put it in the R only. not so much cracking, just the R and maybe the T and E and have some pieces falling off from where its cracked.

I'd like to see them both if you could please. Just to compare.

Hmm, I think I can do this better as well. This was merely a sketch cause I didn't exactly know what you wanted (It took about 20 min). And as I look on it now I see a lot of faults :/
If I am going to use a lot of time on it (Even though I do not really mind (especially if I had the time)) I woudn't mind to be compensated. And oh yeah, should the text be standing on the ground or floating (standing might be more realistic)? I have some ideas about making the image as in the moment stress cracks. Making splints and parts fly through the air out of the image .. And should the miss-font have another style?? A more massive look mabey.
You know what? I'll try some things out and post a couple of images. Also had some ideas about giving the text paintball splatter on or something like that. Hope I'll have time for it today, if so, it should be done by afternoon.

Okay, I made a new one with bullet holed. Not sure if I like the style myself, but then again that's not for me to deside. I just need to know if you like this effect more. It's not as "glass like".

I like how you did the bullet holes in the first one. and yes I like the floating look with pieces falling on the ground, but no shadow.

I'd like to see the one where the MISS has falling and hit STRESS causing it to break and crack like how the cracks look on the first one like glass.
I'm not really liking the splatter.

I'm not sure about the font, and as for colors, we are thinking maybe black with purple accents as team colors and maybe pink somewhere.
