The most simple way is to make a new folder on your FTP called: forum

Make an index.html -file with one big frame that's 100% wide and 100% high. Display the forum in that frame.

Your forum url should now be: www.domain.com/forum

Here is a tutorial on how to make a page using frames.

http://www.tizag.com/htmlT/frames.php

Alternativly you could use an iframe and call for your forum index page to display inside the iframe.

you could also make the new index in the forum folder and have java script (window.location="") forward to the current page.
