You mean like a macro, so you can record mouse moves and keystrokes and then replay them?

really good project man

yes what i think you have to do is store different sction available and the different obstacles and specific actions for the obstacles but if you creating for one something like chess its pretty difficult but the other arcade games its not that tough though its not easy

say you are creating like mario the different acion would be moveforward, back, jump and obstacles would be the the pests and when you are close to them you have to kill them killing ma be done either by jumping or shooting and if there are these coins you have to jump and get them and also you will have to set some priority like say if you encounter a torrise and a ?(coins) together the priority would be killing the tortise.......

well i hope you continue with this project i would be really glad to help youu

You can download a macro software at www.iolo.com if you want to get some ideas.

i'm not sure if this will do what i want it to do, or if it will how to do it. I am not that familar with how macros work. Have you ever played any games on yahoo or msn? I want to create a program that will play games the ones in a java window for you. badgehelp.com has these programs for a game site called pogo another site can't think of the name carries these for certain yahoo games. the tutorial on the macro software site doesn't really have and tutorial of any remotely close to what i would like to learn. I know how to create simple .exes and get them to do things with user input.

ok that is what you ned and did you say you know to create simple .exes and run them and using user inputs you can control other programs open if you know to do this then its all about algorithms(or ai) you will need to develop i thinkn i have mentioned about this ai above.
if you need to know how to control other programs using vb then i'm not quite sure i will have to try out.. and tell you
