Getting code to be recognized by one broswer but not another

Getting code to be recognized by one broswer but not another

Postby riffwraith on Sat Feb 05, 2011 5:26 am

Is there a way to tell IE8 to not look at a section of code? Maybe tags around the code, or something? And I need that code to be seen by FFox.

Thanks in advance! :)

i am in doubt this will help, but i try :
about 7-8 years ago i take the same problem between netscape and IE.
Code: Select all
<layer> and <ilayer> that can be read by netscape
and <span> that is IE. code and we tried :

<layer><span>Example text</span></layer>

and that works perfect.
this means if browser is netscape ,layer be activ and
if browser is IE. span is active.
