there are plusses to both OS's it's just that OSX has more and Tomi is to just trying to justify all the money he spent on his comp and extra monitor and thinks buying a new laptop will make it all better.

ps. Sorry for any stupid typos or anything, doing this on my *Apple* iPod.

Dude, the reason why there weren't much malware spreeding through it is because of not much people targeting it...
Nowadays, you can go to milw0rm and get shellcodes, kernel level exploits that grant you control, and for some weird reason, there's even one that claims to corrupt the EFI.. Dunno how, though... I just knew that, for example, in Linux, the nvram module can be used to blank some BIOS passwords, but, screw the whole EFI down? I dunno how that's supposed to work...

Apple hardware is good, no doubt, but OSX is choppy in my opinion...

Doesn't even make sense, my amazing computer which has been running perfect, virus free for nearly 2 years cost less than and is better than the latest Macs. And that price includes my 2x19" wide screen monitors, my logitech g15 with lcd screen and my surround sound. Win.

I'm getting a laptop to take to college, my dads and friends houses and stuff, it's not a replacement for my PC at all.
