Help! Bending lines (stokes) with CS

Postby nsteph_999 on Fri May 11, 2007 5:25 pm

I as wondering if there is a way to bend and manipulate lines or strokes, while also being able to increae the pixel size from 1 to 30 or what ever may be needed.

I have found that this technique can be accomplished with the simple program of (paint) on a PC, but CS seems to make it really difficult.

I have used the pen tool to bens lines but i cannot increase pixel size or stroke the lines in a color.

Thanks

I'm using CS2, so keep in mind that CS may be different.

If you look at the bottom of the Paths Pallette once you've made you path with the pen tool, you'll see an icon labeled 'stroke path with brush'. Clicking that icon will stroke the path with the foreground color, at a width and opacity defined by the pencil tool (under the brush tool).

Why the pencil tool? Beats me. It took me forever to figure this out.

Hope this helps you.
