HELP - Making a huge banner with small photo

HELP! I need to make a huge banner, but the photo I need to use isn't large enough. Is there a way to increase the size of the photo without losing the quality? Can this be done in Illustrator and then imported back into Photoshop? I tried using the Live Trace feature but it just makes the photo look like a painting instead of an actual photo.

If it is a full colour photo, then you probably can't do much with it - the extra information simply doesn't exist.

You may be able to alter it a bit to try to make it look smoother larger - try increasing the resolution and bluring the sharp pixels together.

Still depends on just how big you're enlarging the image and how much detail you need to see.
