Hello, I am new to Photoshop CS and am therefore having troubles. I am trying to create a header for my phpbb message board and am so far unsuccessful. I am created a new file with a black background. I just dont know how to take other images stored on my computer and edit them then make them layers on the original project. If anyone understands what it is that I am talking about and can help me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome to DEVPPL,

If you are copying the image from a website, just rightclick on the image, click on Copy, go back to your image in photoshop and press CTRL+V.

You can also open an image in photoshop, press CTRL+A, CTRL+C, go to the header and press CTRL+V.

You can also open an image in photoshop, click on the layer and drag it in to the header image.
