Help Needed - Urgent - From An Old Friend

Postby dflynn on Mon Jul 28, 2008 10:28 pm

Hey DEVPPL.
I've hit a brick wall.
My computer is currently out of order and I was in the middle of making some logos for our University's Interhall Council.

We need these printed in three weeks and we're already wayyy behind.

I would finish them myself but I won't be able to get my hands on illustator or Photoshop in time to do them.

I'm asking for some help on this one (I was the only one capable of doing them out of all of our council members).

So I am really hoping that some of my contacts and the great people of DEVPPL would please help me and the 63 members of Interhall Council to get these images vectorized and ready for printing.

We are a non-profit student group, so although I would love to be able to offer compensation, we simply can't)

I'll post the images in the second post for anyone that can help.

Thanks DEVPPL

I can help you. I've got the latest Photoshop CS3.

What do you want done with the logos?

Thanks Macfan, I just need a vector version of these. We need to be able to resize them for printing.

Since I can't use my laptop, the guy putting these together didn't know much about photoshop besides erasing so that's how he blended the two logos together, but the printer told him they were going to have trouble printing them (which blew my mind since they are huge already)...

I guess either an .ai or vectors in a .psd will work.

thanks a lot :D

I believe the one on the logo itself is Bank Gothic (Mac Default Font) and the other one, I'm not sure. Anything close will suffice.

Thanks for your help. It's very much appreciated

Here is a screen shot of what I have done.

What e-mail address should I send the .ai document to?
