Postby pritchi83 on Thu Sep 24, 2009 8:01 pm

Hi

I am hoping someone will be able to help me. In the picture i have attached below i am trying to change the colour of the hoses from white to red (same as the red leads) and one in blue (same as the engine cover) as well but i for some reason i cant do it. Would someone be able to do this for me or show me how to do it

Many Thanks
John

hi,
this is one of my favorite tutorials on colorizing..
it shows about 6 or 7 ways!!!
and for the most there easy.... just make your selections
and from there you change your colors.....

In order to do that and keep it real, a picture of a red hose would help, To create what you want with what's there ends up cheap looking, find a red hose and it could be much better

Yeah, coloring pure white is tricky. I used selective color and put the adjustment layer in the Linear Burn blending mode. Tried to match the color of the wires :-)
