Help with gradient

Postby BFLOSAB on Sun Apr 29, 2007 5:53 pm

I want to swap out this pic with another one. I'll create a canvas 6.25x8.33, insert the new pic, and apply the same color gradient. Can someone tell me what steps I need to take to apply the same gradient?

hmm.. I'm thinking, perhaps it's not a gradient.
Try taking out the elipse marque tool. Set feather (top bar) to .. 100 or so, then draw a circle on your canvas (hold down shift to keep the dimensions). Hit ctrl + i (inverts your selection). Set your foreground color to a dark blue. Hit alt + backspace (fill selection). Change the blending mode of this layer to .. Soft light or something. I hope this helps.

you can use a radial gradient and just scale it up til its the size you want.
