How to copy image from video?

Hi!

I would really appreciate help on this one...

I want to take an image from a movie (Divx, avi or whatever).. screenshot an image out from a movie and pasting it in photoshop cs3 as a single solid image. How do I do that?

I've tried several times, and it shows in photoshop, but only if the movie is still open. If i close the video, the picture that i just pasted into photoshop becomes black...

Please, do anyone know how to do this? thanks in advance

Did you try saving the image and after closing the video reopening it?The picture i mean.

But I'm afraid it doesn't work either... When I open the picture again it's just black the the picture of the video should be...

How are you getting the screenshot from the movie? the Prnt Scrn button, or some other means?

Just the printscreen-button...

Is there another way to print an image?

try pasting it into ms-paint

paste it into paint and save it, then use that it works for me.
