How to import an image with transparency?

hello all! I hope you can solve my problem:
I have an image in photoshop with transparency and I save it as .eps, .tif, .pdf and open it in Illustrator, but none of them keep the transparency!!

Go to the Help menu in Photoshop, and then go to Export Transparent Image.
