how to let something wait some time

simple question how can i do so my labels text waits 1 sec and then that will change into another text? if you understand...

using codes not my field. but why not use .gif format? The codes guys need to step up here, I'm lost in the area.

cuz i dont use the gif thing is cuz that with the label is just an expemle cuz i cant explain my real projcet
