hi,
i have seen your post.. but your first 2 pictures wasn't what your really after

now on the "taste it" text that rather simple....
this tutorial should get you started on that
http://www.alibony.com/pse/073108text-fill.html

now on the car.... that relatively simple , there a lot of tutorials on that but didn't know what ps version you have...

but basically
1. that have the layer of the car
2. after that , they have the word outrageous with a red shadow on a layer ... but several layers where each layer the red shadow is a different size and then they created there animated gif ...

hi,
mmm... trying to figure out what some else did to a image is always difficult...
at best it it sort of guessing...... i am not aware of any specific tutorial.. if there is it matter of getting lucky to find it... smiling.....

my take on this... the basic elements
1. they had black background.....
2. they also had a 'cloud layer" they may have used a mask ....
3. on some layers they had there curve lines just being faint... can be created by drawing your lines and then lowe the birghtness...
4. som layers they made the lines larger and much brighter (probably incresea birghtness quite a bit) .... between item 3 and 4 this sort of give you depth...
5. also looks like they may have used guasian blur on the lines layers so that you don't have sharp lines...
6. now i see a lot of horizontal lines... what they may have done here is created a transparent layers with a lot of black lines and then used one of the blending options..

well that my take on it those are basic elements now there may have been some blending it would take alot of time to figure out..... but hopefullly that should be enough to get you started.... i'll keep on check and see if i get lucky and find some tutorial that comes close...

hi,
first.... did a little more search.... found a few tutorials that uses that does things with lines and very similar to your "glass imaga)
now look at this group of tutorials especially looking tutorials that addresses blur lines llithe light moon beam tutorial etc......

that should really get you in the ball park once you know that then it adding a cloud effect...
http://www.photoshoplady.com/30-best-ph ... tutorials/

now your question about background being trasnparent....

if you noticed the tutorial first layer is white.... well when you start a new layer just make that layer transparent (when you see checkerboard boxes that mean it transparent) everything else should follow in...
