HowToChange pic colours to what they appear when marking txt

Postby spares83 on Wed Jun 24, 2009 5:48 pm

Hi, the story goes.
I opened a jpg in photoshop and wrote few words on it. when I marked the words, as if in order to copy them, the picture thats underneath it changes color only where the mark is. Can you tell me if its possible to automatically swap colors of the whole picture to what I saw when I marked the text? I dont want to use copy screen option. There has to be an easy way of doing it. Please help. cheers

Image > Adjustments > Invert (or CTRL+I) will apply this effect to your whole image. I would suggest duplicating the image layer that you are working on, applying the invert effect and then deleting the parts that you don't want inverted. :)
