HTML/Javascript question

I've made a simple AJAX powered login box:

Everything is working fine, except when you login with incorrect details twice in a row, the title bar screws up, has anyone got any ideas?

Don't point out that that page is badly coded because I know that, I just want to know if anyone can see anything obvious that would make this happen. I can't see how it only does it on the second login and not the first.

The page is created with all the elements and these are all shown and hidden depending on feedback from the AJAX.
