I don't know what I did!

I took the image (as seen on the left side) and tried different things until I came up with what I was looking for (right side). In a brilliant move I didn't document what I did and now I can't remember.

Anyone have any ideas?

I HAVE ELEMENTS3.0 AND GOT A SIMILAR EFFECT BY REMOVING COLOUR AND THEN APPLYING CONTE CRAYON AND FILM GRAIN FILTERS. ALTHOUGH EFFECT WAS NOT THE SAME, PLAYING AROUND WITH SLIDERS AND REAPPLYING FILTERS MIGHT GIVE YOU WAHAT YOU WANT.GOOD LUCK
