my moms friend is gunna give me a copy of photoshop elements 5.0, she has it on her pc, do i need another serial number to use it or can i just install it with hers? :?:

I'm betting you need a new one, but don't know that for sure. What I can tell you is that's the way it works with the full version of Photoshop. The copy can only be active on one computer at a time, and you must deactivate one copy before activating the other. I'm just guessing, but I don't see why Adobe wouldn't do the same with Elements software.

if you have a fast internet connection you should try to download the trial of photoshop CS3. yeah, it's a trial, so you would think it only works for 30 days. That's correct, but if you change the file applications.sif to applications.sif_ it won't ask you for a seriall code or someth. anymore.

(I have the original version of photoshop CS3, but i know some people use it this way)

Isn't using the same serial number twice to avoid paying for a full version illegal?????

definitly it's illegal, but not all of my friends want to pay 300 euro's for a program they use not that much...

where can i find applications.sif?

uhh go to your CS3 map, then something about this:

AMT --> applications.sif

or

CS3 --> adobe photoshop CS3 --> AMT --> applications.sif
