I wish I could draw...

Postby Excruciating on Wed Jan 30, 2008 1:40 pm

A new handdrawn image.
I know it's handdrawn and therefore perhaps shouldnt be in here, but it's been through photoshop anwyays after my scanner violated it.
Facts for the mass:
Done with soft pencils (h-9b)
Medium grained paper (130 gsm I think)
a4
Many, many hours... Over many days.
Well - Enjoy:

Sorry for the grainy texture to it.. my scanner sucks :P

Very nice drawing, I smell Escher Influence :)
Good job though.

A few of the hands, specifically the second, third and fourth hands from the top look very robotic and unnatural..

Overall though i like it

Deffinetly some Escher love from my side :)
I agree with you but thats how it goes when you get tired and rush yourself.. Also I don't think anyone would ever draw like the hand in the down left corner :P

Thanks for the comments all :)

I love the hand in the center - right. It looks realistic, but the way the thumb bends just makes it seem so much more exaggerated and awkward a position that really helps portray the trouble he is having drawing the stick figure.

Dunno, I just like it.
