Well it is supposed to be much better and stable... not stable.. I can't think of the word but more [insert good word here Razz] that IE7

...still IE8 has some flaws...they don't support the CSS opacity now Sad

Really? I read that it would support the same as all the other decent browsers and you wouldn't need all the hacks you needed before.

What about the stupid flash thing, where you have to activate it first? Anyone know if they've changed that?

If you embed the flash correctly, you wont need to activate it.

Was the activation thing not a safety feature that you had to use another hack for, even if you did embed it correctly?

For IE you had to include extra javascript and stuff to make it disappear. All a bit silly in my mind.

Microsoft simply likes being difficult... to them it seems to be that difficult = advanced.
