Hi,
I have been using illustration to draw mechanical objects and saved as PDF file and printed without any problem. However, just discovered the pdf printout object dimension is slightly smaller than the actual shown in the illustrator. eg : for a rectangle of 70mm by 100mm, on the pdf file actual printout dimension (using ruler) measured 67mmx96mm. going back to the illustrator program, the box dimension on screen is 70x100. I have checked all possible setting in illustrator inclusing the printing setting, just can't figure out where gone wrong. Tried printing out on on another printer (inkjet instead of laser), the dimension is even sligher smaller. Can any one hlp and suggest any possible problem?
