a stupid question but I don't know the answer. I used image->reveal all to make visible the pixels outside the canvas, but i don't know the option to return to the original state. file->revert doesn't work.
I'm using version 6

Ehhh, Edit->Undo. If you've closed PS you can always just resize the canvas to how you want it.
