image sizing problem

image sizing problem

Postby avrgloser on Tue May 15, 2007 7:59 pm

Hi everyone. I'm having a problem with the logo on a site. When the page first loads, the image appears distorted and stretched. But as soon as you mouse over the navigation area, which has a hover effect using CSS, the image resizes to as it should be. Hope that describes it well enough. Every image on the site that has a height/width attribute assigned to it behaves this way.

Whats really strange is it only does this when I view the site on the server, when i view it locally, it doesn't do this. I'm stumped.

thanks for any and all help.

If you can post a link to the page in question, or its source code, people will find it easier to determine the problem, and help you solve it.

Works fine in FireFox, in Internet Explorer I see what you mean though.

I don't have experience with CSS, maybe someone else here does? If not try over in the CSS Forum on this site, someone should be able to help you.
