|
|
I have been reading around the internet the last couple of days now, and now I got a headache.
I hope someone can clarify if or if not its “legal” to put images next to ads, I have seen so many websites placing small images right next to ads, and its looks very indented, that the small images is to drag attention to the ads.
Now I have read a couple of news about Google saying they won’t allow it.
I don’t want to point out examples of websites doing this, because I have a hunch that is not allowed, and wont be the one telling.
And a side question if it is legal. Does it have any effect? Do anybody have good experience with it? |

I don't know if it's legal or not, I've heard both.
But I've heard many success stories of it, it should increase the CTR pretty much. |

Why would it be illegal? If you have a legitimate website that isn't search engine spamming, what is the harm in drawing more attention to your advertisements?
and what if they're third-part advertisemnts? |

| I think it's more of an issue whether who the image rights belongs to. If the owner of the image take offends with the usage he/she can also pursue the matter. |
