Internet Advertising at a low price!

Postby sonasty on Sat Jul 19, 2008 8:13 pm

I am in the process of creating a website that will be specifically geared toward selling advertisement space on the Internet and generating traffic.

As we all know, the Internet attracts hundreds of millions of people from all over the world daily, promoting commerce and information trade. The computer is gradually replacing all forms of media, and what better way to get more exposure for your company than to take part in a new way to advertise.

The main premise for the website I am creating is very simple, but very intuitive at the same time. It involves buying a certain sized banner on an internet ad website, measured in pixels, with a fully functional mouse-over which pops open a description of the company or website being advertised. To get a banner on the page, there will be multiple subscription plans: Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly (to be decided).

The main highlight of this website is The Spotlight, which houses a banner on the top-center of the website. "The Spotlight" will be a banner advertisement that changes daily through an auction-like system starting at a low price where the highest bidder gets to place their banner in The Spotlight for 24 hours. This feature seems very marketable, and can be greatly used as a way to receive increased traffic flow to your website.

This message is just to get your opinion on this type of service. Would a website like this be of any use to you? Would a discounted price for being one of the starting banners persuade you into using this type of service?

Thank you so much for your time. Hopefully we will do business in the future!

Sincerely,

Jeremy Damstrom

Lol the irony, an advertising company doing bad advertising. Why advertise something that isn't even ready? lol

And btw, not having a page title doesn't look very professional. If your going to advertise an incomplete site you can at least fix that. :p

You are absolutely right Tomi. We are not ready. We are currently designing the website. Sorry for the confusion :)

I DID mention this though:

"This message is just to get your opinion on this type of service. Would a website like this be of any use to you? Would a discounted price for being one of the starting banners persuade you into using this type of service? "

This is more of a survey than an advertisement, Tomi! You can view the layout here as an image, but the website's content is still being uploaded.

Thanks for your time.

Sorry. Two of my topics were to get a survey response on what I was actually promoting and I guess you could say blatant advertising. The other was for advice on my design layout, but forgot my design image in the post, because I was copying and pasting.

My apologies, I don't condone spamming myself, so I shouldn't have done it. Sorry again.

Link hidden, topic locked, user banned!

I consider this as spamming!
