Just a question

Postby eliasbo on Sun Jul 01, 2007 12:51 pm

Hi all,

As i'm a beginner i wan to ask if a simple jpeg image can be the base for a big printed advertise.
I mean i have a small normal jpeg image, can i use it in photoshop and make it very high resolution to be used in a project so it can be a part of a big advertise that i want to print later??

I hope to hear some answers and opinions so soon.

Thanks in advance to all the help

No. You can't turn low resolution into high resolution, only high resolution into low resolution.

There are certain plugins that can assist in up-sizing images, and you also have to consider how far away people will be when they view your image, and how big the final image is going to be, compared to how large it is now.
