KPT vector effects

Just installed KPT vector effects. Opening Illustrator doesn't show them under Effect. Anyone a hint for me where to find them. Or could the installation have gone wrong.

I just found the software that's impossible to find, after looking for it for months, and paid a high price for it... now, I install it and load up illustrator, and the god damn filter package doesnt work in CS5.

Is there no way to use it on a modern system?

Is it even necessary anymore? Doesnt the in-built 3D features in illustrator do the same thing as KPT Vector Effects??

I'm on a Windows 7 computer - changing to mac for the first time in my life in a few months.
