Layer Combining???

How do u comine Layers like in tuts they tell u to merge Layers?
How is this done ??? :?

You can also click on a layer, link it when the other layers you want to merge it with, then click ctrl+e.

If you have Photoshop CS2, you can click on a layer, hold ctrl down and click on the other layers, then ctrl+e to merge.

Ctrl+Shift+E to merge all layers to one. Worth knowing...
