license expired

Hi fellow Photoshop users. I have a huge problem. I have been running a demo version of PS CS4 and got tempted to try a serial number but license expired popped up. I know I know, it was stupid. I have since bought PS CS4 and tried to install it today. After installing it I try to open it but all I get is a box with

License Expired.

I have talked to Adobe support and they gave me a few things to try. One of them was to reset clean script but no luck. Would love to get some help if any of you have this

Thanks, T

Turning to Adobe support is the only right thing to do in this case, just contact them again.

There is away to fix it and im not condoning the theift of photo shop but the best way in my opinion and abode will never advise this is to finnish what you started get a cracked key and unlock it ones you have done that completely uninstall it and reinstall it using the correct legal info.

I wont be able to help you do it the way i said as that would be irrisponsable of me to post such things on a forum but it should work

Thank you Raven. The problem is, there is no photoshop to uninstall. And in order to uninstall it I would have to install it. But if I do it wont open so its a catch 22. I am considering either formating the hard disk or putting in a second hard disk to install it if this would be possible. There is obviously some kind of file that kicks in every time I try to install the new cs4. Is there any other place than in the hard drive this file could be stored?

Look for a program called CCleaner. It will help you clean up your registry and clear up messed up install entries.
