Photo manip from a hunting trip, where i suddenly started postulating on our dependence on grain for life (animals eat the grain, we eat the animals, ect)

I went a little overboard with the grass brush...
Coms and Crits welcome. :)

All the fancy stuff kinda takes something away from the point your trying to get across (the grain>animals>people thing).

but I like the concept. :D

Appreciate the comments.
I wasn't really trying to get the grain-animals-people thing to show up in the image. That was just what inspired the thought.

:P

Just remove the grass-brush and it would look a lot better :)

Appreciate the crits guys. So no grass - should anything replace it, or is the double border as-is good enough?

Thanks again!

uhh i wouldn't make the border bleu...
i would also delete the green glow around the text.
and i think the bg is a bit overblurred.

sorry
no cool ideas

I really like the effect on the two straws, looks excellent. The border should just be black. A border is supposed to be simplistic and not something you should pay attention to as a viewer really. Don't change the text either if you ask me.
And don't replace the grass brush with anything.
THe only real problem I see is the low detail in the background. I could imagine that this image would rather quickly get boring to look at.

Allright, updated photo at top of thread with changes. What are the thoughts about grass paths? Should they go as well? I hesitate to remove them because then there really isn't a lot in the image to look at....
