Logitech's strike back in the MX series

Postby Kotik on Thu Sep 02, 2004 6:13 pm

Logitech MX1000

Yesterday, as in the 1st of September, Logitech released its latest version of their MX mouse series. In this model Logitech has introduced a whole new technology, a laser technology, which is approximately 20 times faster compared to the optic mouses. It, on the other hand, works by Bluetooth. Apart from that it has FastRF, a lithium battery, 4 way scroll and a battery indicator on the mouse so that you know precisely when it needs charging. A perfect tool for gamers.

Yes, the delay with cordless mouse sure is a pain in the ass. But bluetooth is somewhat better than the ordinary cordless mouses.

Yeah, but what's the use of the battery indicator if it's not cordless... It will be powered by USB or PS/2 then, so that would be useless :(

No use for the battery indicator if it isn't cordless :)

The mouse isnt very expencive either. It's price right now is 79$ (580 kr on Pricerunner). But I have to upgrade my graphic card. Then I can upgrade something else. But I think the price is very reasonable.

By the way I think MX1000 is cooler than Microsoft's Optic Mouse. At least from the picture I've seen i think so.

I myself am using a white microsoft basic optical mouse. It's working perfectly fine for me. But then again gamers and designers need better mouse for perfection. Thats what the idea behind effective and hand-friendly mouses are.
