Electrified, you NEED one of these, lol.
Here's the tablet I use- The Wacom Intuous3 6x8:
I did a lot of research before I bought mine, and this is the one I consider the best.
The pen and tablet interact with each other. If you open Photoshop and go to the right-hand side of the top toolbar, you'll see a tab labeled "brushes". Explore inside this tab, and you'll find all sorts of ways to control the brushes, and how each one is controlled. For example, imagine using a brush that changes size depending on how much pressure you apply to the pen. Or opacity. Or both. Imagine a round brush that becomes oblong when you tilt the pen. Imagine a brush the rotates when you turn the pen. Imagine being able to use the pen exactly like an airbrush. All of these things are possible with a graphics tablet (though some require an upgrade to the pen itself.)
Graphire tablets (one step down from Intuos3, same company) doesn't offer the pen upgrade, nor does it have as many levels of pressure sensitivity (which may not be as terrible as it sounds).
Having seen some of your work Electrified, I'm actually rather surprised you don't have a graphics tablet. Imagine what you could accomplish with one.
Alk, I normally don't post my work unless it's to illustrate a point or ask a question. Since you asked however, here's some links:

I've never used a sig here either. It's not that I don't have them, I just consider it redundant to use a sig if you sign your posts.
