looking for html editor

Postby Piki » Sun Feb 27, 2011 10:47 pm

hi all:)

i am kind of a new at this html coding world but in the near future i want to become pro at this , so...i am looking for simple html editor with the ability to choose tags from list and to add them into the editor without harming the pure code (for future bug fixing and content adds).

i know that there are many editors that makes the work very easy but with the cost of big mess with the pure code (i mean this editors add strange lines into the pure code and it is hard to work with it later).

the idea is to make the work easier and actualy it is like the tags on this forum :P
the same as on this forum like the B , Quote, Code, Img etc...

i hope you understand me
thanks.

I've been looking for a nice HTML-Editor for my netbook for a while now. Since I'm getting used to vim very slowly, I'd prefer to use a better featured editor. I tried to install screem (from source, I didn't find any deb-packages), but it failed due to various issues. Geany does not offer enough features for me, eclipse is too heavy and I couldn't get the HTML-plugin for it to work.
So, any suggestions?

My free HTML editor #1 is Codelobster PHP Edition

It's most powerful among free code editors.
Some advantages of this editor are: intellectual autocomplete, folding code, navigation with Ctrl for all links etc.

I use, and DEVPPL is written with Notepad++. It's simple and has all the functions I need.
