Mac based Plugins!

Hi I recently got an 27 iMac and ofcorse want to base all image work of it. However I can't seem to figure out what I need to do in order to create the .vtf file.

Also if anyone knows if nvida has a normal mapping plugin for mac.
Would appreciate to at-least be pointed in the right direction.

Go finder help type in extention it will tell you what to do

When I type extentions in the PS help menu nothing appears, however when I write plugin, a sub menu does indeed show up with a bunch of plugins.

The thing I want to know is if anyone is using PS3 on a Mac to save down working .VTF files?
